Manchester United have once again been named as the world’s most valuable football team for the eighth year in a row by Forbes magazine, with an estimated value of £1.396billion, which is a 20% increase on last year.
United’s global fan base also helps makes it the most valuable team in any sport, worth £240m more than both Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.
